The team at Wired Magazine commissioned us to design the cover and double-page spread for their November 2024 special editions. This renowned technology and culture publication required two versions: one for the US issue titled “The Big Interview Issue” featuring key media personalities, and another for the UK edition, “Europe’s 100 Hottest Startups.” In addition to our work for Wired, we also created a dynamic double-page layout for Fast Company, featured in their special World‑Changing Ideas awards issue. We also designed the artists' catalogue for the exhibition “Permutations : 40 artistes, 01 musée vide” at the Musée de Valence.
Our role was to enhance Wired’s visual communication through innovative magazine cover concepts. We focused on blending color, pattern, form, and typography to reinforce the publication’s strong identity.
The US edition highlights media and tech personalities. We crafted a design that balances boldness and polish, using layered geometric shapes and typographic details to capture attention and reflect the magazine’s thought leadership.
The UK spread emphasizes startup innovation. Overlapping forms and dotted patterns convey energy and momentum, while typography anchors the visuals, highlighting key stories.
We began by studying le profil encyclopédique de Wired, audience, editorial intent, and aesthetic tone. Sketches and mood boards helped shape layout options and color directions.
Through multiple design iterations, we refined the covers to ensure legibility, color harmony, and visual impact—both in print and online. Meanwhile, we explored editorial design techniques also used in our artists’ catalogue project at the Musée de Valence.
Using abstract geometry, bold hues, and clean typography, we created two distinctive and cohesive Wired Magazine cover layouts.
In parallel to the Wired and Valence projects, we collaborated with Collectif 1.0.3 to create a leporello for the MACVAL. Learn more on our MACVAL project page.

While consistent in style, layouts and tones were adapted to reflect regional cultural cues.
We prepared high-resolution print files and digital thumbnails, ensuring Wired Magazine’s visuals look great across formats.
Every detail—alignment, color fidelity, and typography—was meticulously proofed for final delivery.
Cover designs were validated across mobile, tablet, and desktop to ensure optimal clarity and composition in digital contexts.
